Variants

CurrentTurn

Only this turn’s reasoning, including the reasoning between the calls of one tool loop. Reasoning replayed from completed earlier turns still travels in the request, but is not rendered into the next sample.

AllTurns

Also the reasoning items replayed from earlier turns, not only this turn’s. GPT-5.6’s own default when the request leaves the parameter unset.
